An eighteen year old poker player has been banned from multiple online gaming sites after he was discovered to be holding multiple accounts on each site, a practice frowned upon by the online poker community.

The young man has not only been permanently banned from the gambling websites but also from any land-based tournaments the online gambling rooms may have sponsored. The deviant nature of the young player’s ethics was questionable when he issued an apology on various well known online poker forums last week for multi-accounting. However, none of the popular sites revoked their initial decision of banning the young man.

Whether it is online or land based gambling game being played, the true, hardcore players have a code of ethics to play by. You should never leave a table after you have made a big win, it is uncouth. You should also never attempt to be more than one person, it is devious. All of these rules are in place to help give players a sense of security. The idea is you play for the love of the game not for the money.
There is a zero tolerance attitude towards unscrupulous players and cheats. It is thought that many online poker players from around the world put pressure on these gambling sites to ban the player once his transgressions became public.
